WHERE IS THE WORLD'S FIRST TREE CLINIC AND HOSPITAL LOCATED ?

Do you know that there is also a place in the world where the world's first treeclinic is there. IRS officer Rohit Mehra has started a 'Tree Clinic and Hospital' to take care of sick trees. Which can be the world's first tree hospital to be operated in Amritsar India.'Tree dispensary and clinic' You have heard of a variety of clinics and hospitals for different diseases, for humans as well as animals, but have you ever heard of a 'tree dispensary and clinic' for sick trees? Have you heard that it has its own tree-ambulance? We bet you haven't. This is because it was not there earlier and for the first time in the whole world a hospital has been specially established to take care of the trees suffering from diseases. Behind this unique idea is Mr. Rohit Mehra, an IRS officer who is popularly referred to as the "Green Man of India". Today Mr. Rohit Mehra's hard work has paid off, he has started a campaign to keep the trees green in Amritsar.

About Tree Clinic

Mr. Mehra believes that trees are just like humans. They eat, drink, grow old and die - just like all of us humans. And like us, they too suffer from ailments including physical, biological and chemical diseases. Most of the population survives on a vegetarian or plant-based diet and naturally, eating diseased plants will harm our bodies as well. He realized that there was not a single organization that focused only on the treatment of sick and diseased tree plants; Hence, he started 'Pushpa Clinic and Hospital' in Amritsar, Punjab for the care of trees.

Mr. Mehra said we provide 33 different types of services which include day care, nail removal, trimming, tree guard removal, uprooting trees, grooming, revitalization etc. The whole process is done naturally. Mr. Mehra has deeply scanned the book 'Vriksha Ayurveda' which gives details of plant diseases and also includes remedies to revive them. In addition, he has tied up with several botanists to be involved in the project.

“You can either bring your little plant to the clinic to be examined; Ping us online about the diseases you are seeing in your tree or you can call for a tree ambulance”

 Said Mr. Mehra

About Tree Ambulance

The Tree Ambulance has basic gardening and treatment equipment including bio jibs, fertilizers etc and goes on to identify and treat trees and plants according to their ailments.

“For tree ambulances, we took e-rickshaws and converted them into full-fledged ambulances. We have roped in some volunteers, tree experts, scientists, botanists and some tree lovers who are ready to help in this initiative.”

Said Mr Mehra

Mr Mehra has also provided a phone number where people can call and share the issues their trees are suffering from, and the ambulance team will reach their location, identify the problem and work on it. "This is just the beginning so we have limited resources but soon we will start uprooting and replanting trees," he said.

Public participation

In this unique endeavor of Mr. Mehra many people have started joining the project. (various arborists) People who specialize in pruning trees have also taken an interest in the project.

“The services we are providing are completely free. I am not doing this for monetary purpose. This is my gift to Mother Nature,

Said Mr Mehra

Mr. Mehra has devised various measures like 'Panchratna and Neem Shastra' to protect the trees from harmful elements like termites by using natural resources. He has also made a manual to instruct the people. There is only one complete factory in Ludhiana making gardener tools. Mr. Mehra has collaborated with them for resources. His team visits the homes of the local people and guides them about the planting and use of plants and trees.

“If anyone would need help setting up a garden or kitchen garden, my team would go to their place and help them set up everything. They will come again after 5-6 days to pay attention to the growth of the plants and guide them accordingly,

Said Mr Mehra

He also clears trees that are harmed during the traditional rituals that elders usually do, and makes people aware of what kind of plants they can grow and keep inside their homes.

Use of natural resources

Mr. Mehra treats each plant with utmost care, using only natural means. They have completely avoided the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides to keep the plants in good health. All the bio-fertilizers used by the clinic are 100% natural and organic. He is using seed balls, natural decomposers that increase soil fertility, to induce growth, and using kitchen waste and animal waste as fertilizer.

"This helped in two ways: we could regenerate the waste and use it as fertilizers, and through that we were able to increase plant growth"

Said Mr Mehra

Mr. Mehra appeals to the public to take care of their green friends like their own family, as they too have life. Basic steps like ensuring their good health and keeping them away from the areas will automatically take them a long way.

Clinic opening

The clinic was inaugurated on 30th January, 2020 and has attracted people from all over Amritsar. We are confident that its reputation will grow in leaps and bounds beyond Amritsar.

YOG GURU RAMDEV BABA

Ramakrishna Yadav (born 1965), also known as Baba Ramdev, Baba is an Indian yoga guru and practitioner, who contributed in the field of Yogasana and Pranayama Yoga. Ramdev himself organizes yoga-camps from place to place, in which people of all sects often come. Baba is mainly known for Yoga and Ayurveda in India. Ramdev has been organizing and conducting large yoga camps since 2002, telecasting his yoga classes on various TV channels. He co-founded Patanjali Ayurved Limited with his associate Balkrishna. In 2010, he announced the formation of a political party for the 2014 general election. However, he has recently become a vocal advocate of the BJP.

Early life

Ramdev was born in 1965 in a Hindu family to Ramniwas Yadav and Gulabo Devi in Syed Pur village of Mahendragarh district of Haryana; Both his parents were farmers. Ramdev comes from the tradition of Arya Samaj, after completing his studies from the government school of nearby village Shahzadpur till the eighth standard, Ramakrishna took education of Veda Sanskrit and Yoga from Acharya Pradyumna and Yogacharya Baldev ji in a Gurukul in Khanpur village. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev resolved to take sanyas at a young age and Ramakrishna became popular in the new form of Baba Ramdev. Ramdev declared the net worth of his personal assets to be around "Rs 1,100 crore" in 2013. The left side of his face was partially paralyzed for at least a few months after his birth, probably due to a congenital disability or childhood illness. This condition causes Ramdev's left eye to blink and blink involuntarily. At an early age, he was greatly influenced by Satyarth Prakash, a Hindi book written in 1875 by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. Baba Ramdev ran away from home and started studying Indian scriptures, Yoga and Sanskrit in various Arsh Gurukul schools. He preferred Gurukul schools as they were traditional educational institutions which taught on the basis of Vedic principles. He found Guru Pradyumna, was accepted into his school Arsh Gurukul Khanpur, met his lifelong associate Balakrishna, and became Ramakrishna. Here he and Balkrishna spent three years together, developing their friendship as they studied. Ramakrishna left Gurukul Kalwa to become a student of Acharya Baldevji, the head of the Arya Samaj, who named him Ramdev. He also learned yoga from Guru Karmaveer, who was also an Arya Samaji. At the age of about 25, he adopted sannyas, "took the name of Baba Ramdev and began teaching yoga." He spent the next three years in the Himalayas near Gangotri in search of salvation. While living in Kalwa Arsh Gurukul in Jind district of Haryana, Ramdev gave free yoga training to villagers. He then moved to Haridwar in Uttarakhand, where he practiced self-discipline and meditation, and spent many years studying ancient Indian scriptures at Gurukul Kangri University. In the late 1990s, farming conditions in his native village had deteriorated, due to the region's depleting water table, which prompted Ramdev to move to Haridwar. After this he called his family to Haridwar. Ramdev's family members play various roles in his Ayurveda ventures depending on his abilities. His father oversees activities at Patanjali Ayurved, his brother Rambharat controls the company's finances.

Yoga, Ayurveda and Public Activities

Established Divya Yog Mandir Trust in 1995 in Baba Ramdev. Since 2003, Aastha TV started showing Baba Ramdev's yoga program every morning, after which many supporters joined him. Baba Ramdev played an important role in taking yoga to the masses, since many big personalities including common people also participate in his yoga camps in India and abroad. Baba Ramdev addressed the Muslim community for the first time in Deoband (Uttar Pradesh). He was one of the nine personalities invited by Prime Minister Modi to participate in and promote the message of cleanliness when the Swachh Bharat Mission was launched on 2 October 2014. In May 2018, Ramdev launched Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards in partnership with BSNL.

Major Works of Swami Ramdev

Swami Ramdev established two service projects named Patanjali Ayurved Limited, a state-of-the-art medicine manufacturing unit, in addition to Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust at Maharishi Dayanand Village Haridwar in 2006. Through these service-projects, Swami Ramdev is promoting Yoga, Pranayama, Spirituality etc. as well as Vedic education and Ayurveda. Baba Ramdev ji's relentless fight against corruption is going on and he is also playing a major role in nation building. Apart from this, Swami Ramdev also participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Not only this, he announced the adoption of Haridwar and the pilgrimage city Rishikesh under this campaign.

organizing yoga camps

Baba Ramdev organizes yoga camps from time to time. Through his yoga camps, Baba Ramdev is working to take the importance of Indian culture and yoga to the people in foreign countries as well.

Coronil and Swasari,

Ramdev considers Hindu mythology to be history. There is no scientific backing for his claims about curing diseases caused by cow urine and dung. He also claimed that COVID-19 can be self-diagnosed by controlling breathing and that mustard oil kills the virus. They have been criticized for their belief in statements or practices that claim to be both scientific and factual but are inconsistent with the scientific method, and are therefore classified as pseudoscience. In June 2020, Patanjali launched Coronil and Swasari, which they claimed provided an Ayurvedic treatment for COVID-19. Hours later, the Union Ministry of AYUSH issued a statement asking Ramdev to stop advertising the drug as a treatment for COVID-19. A day after the launch, a criminal complaint was filed by social activist Tamannaah Hashmi against Ramdev and his aide Balkrishna for misleading a large number of people and endangering their lives. Maharashtra minister Anil Deshmukh banned the sale of Coronil in Maharashtra, saying the state would not allow the sale of a 'fake drug'. There is called a booster medicine, which can be used for covid-19 management. In May 2021, the National Vice President of the Indian Medical Association, Dr. Navjot Singh Dahiya submitted an application against Swami Ramdev for allegedly creating panic regarding treatment of COVID-19 patients and using defamatory/derogatory language towards doctors.

STEPHEN HAWKING,LIFE,WORK,EDUCATION,MARRIAGES,DISEASE,DEATH

Stephen Hawking English theoretical physicist

Stephen William Hawking CH CBE FRS FRSA (8 January 1942 – 14 March 2018) was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist and author who at the time of his death was Director of Research at the Center for Theoretical Cosmology at the University of Cambridge. He was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 2009. Hawking was born in Oxford into a family of doctors. He began his university education at University College, Oxford in October 1959 at the age of 17, he began his graduate work in October 1962 at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, where he graduated in March 1966 with a specialization in general relativity and cosmology. Received PhD degree in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. In 1963, Hawking was diagnosed with early slow motion. Progressive form of motor neurone disease that slowly paralyzed him over the decades. After the loss of his speech, he communicated via a speech-generating device, initially through the use of a handheld switch, and finally through a cheek muscle. Among Hawking's scientific works are collaborations with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Initially, Hawking radiation was controversial. By the late 1970s and following the publication of further research, the discovery was widely accepted as a significant breakthrough in theoretical physics. Hawking was the first to establish a theory of cosmology, which was explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He was a strong supporter of the multi-world interpretation of quantum mechanics. Hawking achieved commercial success with several popular science works in which he discussed his theories and cosmology in general. His book A Brief History of Time made it to the Sunday Times bestseller list for a record-breaking 237 weeks. Hawking was a Fellow of the Royal Society, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. In 2002, Hawking was ranked 25th in the BBC's poll of the 100 Greatest Britons. He passed away on 14 March 2018 at the age of 76, after living with motor neurone disease for more than 50 years.

Early life

Hawking was born on 8 January 1942 in Oxford. Hawking's parents attended the University of Oxford, where Frank studied medicine and Isobel studied philosophy, politics and economics. Isobel worked as the secretary of a medical research institute, and Frank was a medical researcher. Hawking had two younger sisters, Philippa and Mary.

Work

Stephen Hawking made important contributions to the understanding of black holes and the Big Bang theory. He received 12 honorary degrees and America's highest civilian honor. Stephen Hawking's work published in book form is 'A Brief History of Time'. This book was published in the year 1988 and became so popular due to its factuality and scientificity that it sold one million copies in 10 years. Even today its demand remains

What makes me most happy is that I played my part in understanding the universe. Its secrets were opened in front of the people and he was able to contribute to the research done on it. I feel proud when crowds of people want to know about my work. "

—Stephen Hawking

“I will always be proud that I played an important role in knowing the universe, made many new discoveries in the field of science and people appreciate my contribution. "

—Stephen Hawking

“I have lost control of almost all muscles and now I can only communicate through my cheek muscles by connecting the sensors on my glasses to the computer. "

—Stephen Hawking

Education

Hawking started his schooling from Byron House School in Highgate, London. Eight-year-old Hawking attended St. Albans High School for Girls for a few months. He built a computer from clock parts, an old telephone switchboard, and other recycled components.Known as "Einstein" at the Hawking School, over time, he began to show considerable aptitude for scientific subjects and, inspired by Tahta, decided to study mathematics at the university.Hawking began his university education at the University College, Oxford in October 1959 at the age of 17. His physics teacher, Robert Berman, later said, "He only needed to know that something could be done, and that he could do it without seeing how other people did it." Hawking was concerned that he was seen as a lazy and difficult student. So, when Viva was asked to describe her plans, she said, "If you give me the first prize, I'll go to Cambridge. If I get the second prize, I'll be at Oxford, so I hope That." You'll give me that first." He was held in higher esteem than he believed; as Berman remarked, the examiners were "so intelligent they could sense they were talking to someone smarter than themselves". After receiving a first class BA (Hons) degree in Physics and completing a trip to Iran with a friend, he began his graduate work in October 1962 at Trinity Hall, Cambridge.Hawking's first year as a doctoral student was a difficult one. He was initially disappointed to learn that he had been appointed as observer, Dennis William Synema, one of the founders of modern cosmology, instead of the famous astronomer Fred Hoyle, and found that his training in mathematics was not sufficient. Work. in general relativity and cosmology. After suffering from motor neurone disease, Hawking fell into a depression – although his doctors advised him to continue his studies, they felt it made no sense. His disease progressed more slowly than doctors had predicted. Although Hawking was unsupported

personal life marriages

Hawking met his future wife, Jane Wilde, at a party in 1962. The following year, Hawking was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. In October 1964, aware of the potential challenges caused by Hawking's short life expectancy and physical limitations, the couple engaged to be married. Hawking later said that the engagement gave him "something to live for". The two were married on 14 July 1965 in their shared hometown of St. Albans. The couple lived in Cambridge, within walking distance of Hawking's Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP). During the first years of their marriage, Jane lived in London during the week as she completed her degree at Westfield College. He traveled to the United States several times for conferences and physics-related trips. Jane began a PhD program in Medieval Spanish Poetry (completed in 1981) through Westfield College. The couple had three children: Robert, born May 1967, Lucy, born November 1970, and Timothy, born April 1979. Hawking rarely discussed his illness and physical challenges, even - in an example set during his courtship - with Jane. His disability meant that the responsibilities of the home and family rested on his wife's rapidly growing shoulders, giving him more time to think about physics. Upon her appointment to a year-long position at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California in 1974, Jane proposed that an undergraduate or post-doctoral student stay with her and help care for her. Hawking accepted, and Bernard Carr traveled with him as the first of many students to fulfill the role. The family spent a generally happy and stimulating year in Pasadena. Hawking returned to Cambridge in 1975 for a new home and a new job as a reader. Don Page, with whom Hawking had started a close friendship at Caltech, came to work as a live-in graduate student assistant. With the help of Page and a secretary, Jane's responsibilities are eased so that she can return to her doctoral thesis and her renewed interest in singing. Around December 1977, Jane met organist Jonathan Heller Jones while singing in a church choir. Hellier Jones became close to the Hawking family, and by the mid-1980s, he and Jane had developed romantic feelings for each other. According to Jane, her husband was accepting the situation, saying that "as long as I continued to love him, he wouldn't mind". Jane and Helier Jones were determined not to break the family, and their relationship remained platonic for a long time. Hawking's marriage had been strained for several years until the 1980s. Jane felt overwhelmed by the infiltration of essential nurses and assistants into her family life. The impact of their celebrity was daunting for co-workers and family members, while the prospect of living up to a cosmopolitan fairytale image was daunting for the couple. Hawking's views on religion also contradicted his strong Christian faith and resulted in tensions. After a tracheotomy in 1985, Hawking required a full-time nurse and nursing care was divided into 3 shifts daily. In the late 1980s, Hawking became close to one of his nurses, Elaine Mason, to the dismay of some of his colleagues, caregivers, and family members, who were troubled by his personality and strength of security. In February 1990, Hawking told Jane that he was leaving her for Mason, leaving the family home. Following his divorce from Jane in 1995, Hawking married Mason in September, declaring, "It's wonderful — I've married the woman I love." In 1999, Jane Hawking published a memoir, Music to Move the Stars, which described her marriage to Hawking and its breakup. Its revelations caused a sensation in the media, but as was his usual practice regarding his personal life, Hawking made no public comment except to say that he had not read biographies about himself. After his second marriage, Hawking's family felt excluded and marginalized from their lives. For a period of about five years in the early 2000s, her family and employees became concerned that she was being physically abused. A police investigation ensued, but was closed due to Hawking's refusal to file a complaint. In 2006, Hawking and Mason quietly divorced, and Hawking resumed a close relationship with Jane, their children, and their grandchildren. Reflecting this happy period, a revised version of Jane's book, titled Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, was published in 2007, and in 2014, The Theory of Everything, was made into a film.

Stephen hawking disease

Hawking was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly referred to in the U.S. as Lou Gehrig's disease. As ALS progresses, the degeneration of motor neurons in the brain interfere with messages to muscles in the body. Eventually, muscles atrophy and voluntary control of muscles is lost.

Death

According to a family spokesman, Hawking died on the morning of March 14, 2018 at his home in Cambridge. His family had issued a statement expressing his grief.

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE SHREK OF THE CARTOON WORLD WAS IN REALITY TOO

The animated character Shrek was a real-life inspiration. The real Shrek – MAURICE TILLET named as  “The French Angel” or the Freak Ogre of the Ring – A French Wrestler. He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on October 23, 1903. The real-life Shrek i.e. Maurice resembled a green ogre with a heart of gold in his features. Due to his blonde hair and angelic face, his friends used to call him the French angel. He was nicknamed the “Ugliest Man in the World by some narrow-minded people.

The real-life inspiration for the animated character Shrek might just be a man nicknamed “The French Angel.”

Maurice, in his twenties, developed acromegaly, a hormonal condition where growth hormone-producing cells of the anterior pituitary gland become excessively active. As a result, large quantities of growth hormones are produced. The person cannot grow taller. All body tissues grow rapidly, including the bones become thicker and the soft tissues can continue to grow and tissues continue to get large.

Early Life of Maurice Tillet

Tillet was born in 1903 in the Ural Mountains in Russia to French parents. His mother was a teacher and his father was a railroad engineer. Tillet's father died when he was young. As a child, he had a completely normal appearance and was even given the nickname "The Angel" by his mother due to his innocent face. In 1917, Tillet and his mother left Russia due to the Revolution and moved to France, where they settled in Reims. When Tillet was twenty years old, he noticed swelling in his feet, hands, and head, and after visiting a doctor was diagnosed with acromegaly—a condition usually caused by a benign tumor on the pituitary gland, resulting in bone overgrowth and thickening. Tillet completed his law degree at the University of Toulouse, but felt he would never be successful due to his deep voice and physical appearance. Tillet served in the French Navy for five years as an engineer.

The Visual Inspiration For DreamWorks – Shrek

Despite having a similar physical appearance between Maurice and Shrek, the studio – DreamWorks never addressed Maurice’s appearance as it was the inspiration for the animated character Shrek. There were three casts. Two masks of Maurice having a greenish tinge are displayed at The Weightlifting Hall of Fame, Lowa and York Barbell Museum by sculptor Louis Linck, where it would allegedly be used as a model to design the popular cartoon character and One is with his friend.
